squeaky clean face and body

This cloth cleans wonderfully. Leaves you feeling refreshed and new. I use with olive oil soap and feel squesky clean after a shower.

Ayate Cloth

Love this product! I have used an Ayate to exfoliate in practically every shower for the last eight years and now I just don't feel clean with out it. The rough patches on my knees and elbows are history and my skin feels like it can breathe - I look forward to that part of my bath ritual. Not great on sensitive areas like the face, but no loofa can compare...

This is the very best of all the exfoliating puffs and products. It has completely removed (safely) the bumps on my back and chest. After you use the product for a couple of months, it will soften and then can be used on the face as well. I am so glad that I discovered this product!

Really good

Definitely the best product of this type I've used. Much more conducive to good lather than a loofa, and much better exfolation that a plastic mesh poof. Now if they'd take this material and make it into the shape of one of those plastic poofs, *that* would be the perfect product!

Great

I have had three different ayate washcoths and this one is by far the strongest one. It is also softer and bigger and holds its shape better. It is great for exfoliating your skin, as the texture is coarse enough for the rough parts of your feet or knees but soft enough for the whole body. I use it every day and think it is far superior to a loofah, and can be machine washed. Although the deodorant stone is considerably smaller (about the size of a silver dollar) than other stones I've used, it works great on my underarms.

No more plastic poof balls

Agree with previous reviewer Laughing Moon. Once you use these washcloths, you can kiss the loofas and plastic balls goodbye. I have oily facial skin, but I've used the washcloth on my face too.

Wonderful alternative to a plain old washcloth!

This natural fiber washcloth is simply fab! I use it with herbal shower gel and it leaves my skin glowing. It really gives you an all-over clean feeling and has a natural exfoliating effect that's great. Try it!

Good loofa alternative

This product is not a washcloth but a scrubbing tool much like a loofa, but more gentle. While it is more gentle than a loofa, I would not recommend using it on your face. It was too scratchy to use on my delicate skin, but worked great on my back. It shrinks in water and is a very interesting and useful bath tool.

Fantastic~!

This is great! You'll love this if you use these sloughing-off products such as Loofa. I have given these as gifts for years getting new 'Cult-followers" for this wonderful wash-cloth. This Cloth will last about a year or more, and some are soft enough to use on the face. All seem impossibly stiff until wet when they shrink and change completely. They are really delightful and much more effective and elegant than a loofa. This is one of those "must haves" for everyone's bath~! As Martha Stewart says: "it's a beautiful thing!" As after using this, you will never go back to those plastic poof balls they sell at the drug store again!
